"Estratégia paradoxal para tratar doenças crônicas": modelo terapêutico utilizado pela homeopatia há mais de dois séculos - Homeopathy Teixeira MZ. "Paradoxal strategy for treating chronic diseases": a therapeutic model used in homeopathy for more than two centuries. Homeopathy 2005; 94(4): 265-266. Disponível em: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16226210 Resumo Em recente edição do periódico britânico “Medical Hypotheses”, Anthony J. Yun et al publicaram o artigo 'Paradoxical strategy for treating chronic diseases where the therapeutic effect is derived from compensatory response rather than drug effect', como uma 'proposta inédita' ('our counterintuitive paradigm', 'our paradoxical treatment model', etc.) de tratamento das doenças crônicas através dos mecanismos compensatórios do organismo. Our hypothesis portends a different trend in pharmacology: the development of drugs that require more innovative dosing, increase sensitization over time enabling dose reduction, and may cure the underlying chronic condition'. Abstract In recent edition of Medical Hypotheses, Anthony J. Yun et al published the article 'Paradoxical strategy for treating chronic diseases where the therapeutic effect is derived from compensatory response rather than drug effect', as an 'unedited proposal' ('our counterintuitive paradigm', 'our paradoxical treatment model', etc.) of treatment of chronic diseases through compensatory mechanisms of the organisms. Using the homeopathic purposes without mentioning them (plagiarism), which were based on the modern scientific rationality though the countersigned articles, the authors took over the intellectual authorship of ideas and conceptions used for more than two centuries by the homeopathy: 'Our hypothesis portends a different trend in pharmacology: the development of drugs that require more innovative dosing, increase sensitization over time enabling dose reduction, and may cure the underlying chronic condition'. |
